SendMeService is committed to responsible, compliant messaging. We follow all TCPA, 10DLC, and carrier guidelines to protect both our customers and their recipients.

Our Compliance Commitment

SendMeService operates as a registered ISV (Independent Software Vendor) under the 10DLC framework. Every customer account is registered with The Campaign Registry. We actively monitor for abuse and enforce our Acceptable Use Policy to maintain the highest delivery rates for all customers.

Opt-In Requirements

  • All recipients must provide explicit written consent before receiving marketing messages
  • Consent must be obtained separately for each type of message (marketing, transactional, alerts)
  • Opt-in records must be retained for a minimum of 4 years
  • Double opt-in is recommended for marketing campaigns
  • Consent cannot be a condition of purchase

Opt-Out & STOP Keywords

  • Every message must include opt-out instructions (e.g., 'Reply STOP to unsubscribe')
  • STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT must be honored immediately
  • Opt-out requests must be processed within 10 business days
  • After opting out, only a single confirmation message may be sent
  • HELP keyword must return contact information and opt-out instructions

Message Content Rules

  • Every message must identify the sending business by name
  • No deceptive, misleading, or fraudulent content
  • No adult content, illegal substances, or gambling promotions
  • No phishing links or malicious URLs
  • Message frequency must be disclosed at opt-in
  • Standard message and data rates disclosure required

10DLC Registration

  • All A2P (Application-to-Person) messaging requires 10DLC registration
  • Businesses must register their brand with The Campaign Registry (TCR)
  • Each use case (marketing, 2FA, notifications) requires a separate campaign registration
  • SendMeService handles all 10DLC registration on your behalf
  • The $99 setup fee covers your brand and campaign registration costs

Prohibited Content & Use Cases

The following content types are strictly prohibited on the SendMeService platform and will result in immediate account termination:

Spam or unsolicited bulk messaging
Phishing, smishing, or social engineering
Illegal firearms, drugs, or controlled substances
Adult content or sexually explicit material
Hate speech or discriminatory content
Deceptive marketing or false claims
Loan sharking or predatory lending
Gambling (unless licensed and compliant)

About Carrier Fees

All SMS messages sent through the US carrier network are subject to carrier surcharges imposed by AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and other carriers. These fees are mandatory for all A2P (Application-to-Person) messaging and are collected by the carriers to fund network maintenance and spam prevention programs.

These fees are charged to the sender (you), not to your customers. Your customers are never billed by SendMeService. Standard message and data rates from their own carrier plan may apply to received messages, as is standard for all SMS communication.
